Delicious goose

Picked up goose including side dishes. Meat very good, aromatic, crispy skin, very intense, good herb filling. Red cabbage with a Christmas touch. Dumplings good.

We had goose to take away. The goose and the side dishes were packed for transport and arrived at home still hot. The meat and the side dishes (dumplings, red cabbage, baked apples and sauce) tasted very good. 100 points. A repetition is already planned.

Very tasty St. Martin's goose in the delivery service: delivered on time and hot, exactly to the point, goose and side dishes top notch !! Gladly again, as soon as possible in the restaurant.

Today we tried the goose-to-go with red cabbage and dumplings. Very, very tasty and uncomplicated when ordering and picking up. Looking forward to having a meal in the pub after lockdown.

Yesterday evening I was there again ate delicious game. Very good implementation of the Hyhiene concept from Monday you can then order food to be picked up / delivered again just look on the website.

Very good inn with all the specialties of Frankfurt cuisine. In summer you can sit outside very nicely. In the colder seasons it is very cozy inside. The operators are always friendly and the service is very good and attentive. No matter who I come here with, everyone tastes good, everyone finds something. There are also changing season tickets, so it never gets boring. I would love to give the staff an extra star! You're awesome!

Very well prepared and delicious German dishes in a traditional setting with a large terrace! Friendly and cordial staff! A good selection of draft beers and homemade drinks! I recommend fresh traditional dishes from a varied menu! Frisch! Ehrlich! Hessisch! :)

Today we visited this place for the second time. It was even tasty the first time. But today was a total failure. Burger terribly not good. Mainly meat. The fries also tasted like they were fried in old oil or were old. The child ordered spatula with sauce. The bad sauce resembled the usual sauce that can be bought in the package. We left € 80 for three adults and one child. Not tasty and expensive 😭👎

Best Location of FFM

We visited the traditional house in a small group after work on a Thursday. Reservation recommended, but not necessary for individuals or couples. Menu is clear and good, simple salads, Hessian dishes and schnitzel are available. Service is attentive and very friendly, food came promptly and was very tasty. Prices okay too. The only downside: mushrooms in the mushroom sauce came out of the can. Otherwise fully recommended.

Good Restaurant, owners and waitress(es) are always kind and friendly. Great kitchen for traditional food, with seasonal dishes. I recommend guests to taste and enjoy the Frankfurt traditional drink "Äppelwoi" (wine made of apples, 5,5%alc.)

Great schnitzel - Wiener Art...and the green sauce - heavenly!

Very quick and tasty food. Friendly service and since we were pressed for time you could noticeably notice that the employees were hurrying for us. Nevertheless, the quality has not fallen by the wayside. Regarding the location itself: it is a very nice, rustic and cozy restaurant with good home-style cuisine and based on my current experience I have to say that I will be happy to go there again, should I be around! In my opinion, you definitely deserve 5 stars.

Very clean room! Spotless! Very polite and helpful stuff. Breakfast was more than enough. Easy access to bus and very near train station. You can eat very good food and drink your beer in the beer garden under big chestnut trees! Amazing steak.

Great staff, great ambience outside in summer and inside when it's cold. The food is really good and the pricing is reasonable. They often do special menu weeks and allow you to make a reservation online. This is a lot more than your average traditional restaurant.

Nice small guesthouse. Rooms are clean. The breakfast is not a buffet but offers you on your table more than you need. The street is a little bit loud. For the price of a room it is a very good offer.

Stayed in the Gasthaus Zum Löwen in Frankfurt on a short business trip. Great food, awesome beer garden and very friendly hosts. Definitely a place to go to if you are looking for a reasonably priced and freshly prepared traditional German meal. The hotel rooms are nice and clean.

While researching background for my latest travel mystery I stopped at Gasthaus Zum Lowen. The meal on the terrace was wonderful, from the onion bread and minted butter to the rich gravies dressing the meat dishes. Getting a tour of the room where Faust blew himself up was pretty cool, too!
